The Noyes optical light sources are designed to be used with optical power meters to perform loss measurements on fibre optic cables. The OLS series offers excellent stability and portability for accurate testing on singlemode or multimode fibre at 660, 850, 1300, 1310, 1550 and 1625nm. Our fibre optic loss test kits are ideal solutions for testing an assortment of multimode and singlemode systems. By joining the Noyes Fiber Systems power meters and light sources in a rugged carry case, measuring optical loss has never been easier. Combine an optical light source with an OPM 1 for basic loss testing, an OPM 4 to add the ability to set a reference, or the OPM 5 to store readings and create computer generated loss reports. For simultaneous loss measurement at dual wavelengths, choose the OLS 6 and OPM 6 test kits.
